DESCRIPTION

The Slant motion grapic project is my first kinetic typography project. Ani DiFranco uses language to paint a picture and I wanted to emphasize that imagery through typography or her actual words. The first challenge was to match the words with the audio. The next was to image the scene. I enjoyed creating style boards and thinking through transitions.

I utilzed Illustrator to create each typographic scene. I learned to prepare Illustrator files for After Effects. One of the more challenging transitions was a door animation I built in Photoshop and imported it as a png sequence. I enjoy creating visual representations through typography and motion.
